Horseman Super Wide SW-612 Professional
Multi-Format Panorama Camera Body w/Shift - 6x12cm / 6x9cm / 6x7cm

Current and potential users of the Horseman SW612
super wide-angle camera can now expand their range
of tools by a new dimension: SHIFT. To this end,
Horseman has developed a three-part camera body
which permits 17mm (either way) of up/down and 15mm
(also either way) of sideways shift.
The world's first hand-held super wide angle camera
with shift capabilities in both directions, the
Horseman SW612 Professional is a particularly
welcome addition in architectural and interior
photography where perspective often needs to be
controlled, and when working in restricted spaces.
A masterpiece of precision engineering, the SW612
Professional is a three-part body consisting of
three extremely thin frames which move relatively to
each other on tapered roller steel bearings.
Movement is smooth and quiet, and the bearings have
been designed for long service life without ever
requiring lubrication. The front (lens-side) frame
provides the vertical shift with a total stroke of
34mm, while the rear frame shifts sideways with a
maximum stroke of 30mm.
The Horseman SW612 Professional is available as a
complete system including lenses, and film holders,
etc., but the body is also retro-fittable to all
current 612 systems. It is now equipped with fluid
levels, permitting accurate leveling in all three
axes.
Wherever super wide-angle coverage is required, the
Horseman SW612 Professional opens up entirely
possibilities of image control with the world's
first two-way shift capability. |
