Schneider MACRO-DIGITAR 120mm f5.6 Lens in Copal #0 Shutter
Newer lenses for large format digital cameras are slightly smaller in size, and shorter in focal length than lenses designed for 4x5 or 8x10 film. Digital sensor chips are usually smaller than their film format counterparts. Several 35mm Style Digital SLR's are an exception. The format conversion factor for a 4x5 lens for film to a 4x5 Digital Lens is 1.39.
This is a 120mm f/5.6 Macro lens in a basic Copal #0 Shutter. It is best suited for photographing subjects 1:4 (1/4 life size) to 1:1 (life size) scale. Magnification of 4:1 is possible, with limitations.
Features
The eight lens elements in four groups are constructed to focus light more directly on the image sensor, and are best suited for macro photography of 1:1 scale
If shooting at scales greater than 1:1, the lens should not be stopped down due to increasing diffraction
It accepts all brands of 40.5mm screw-in filters
