The Macro-Symmar lens from Schneider is a quality
photographic lens for medium and large formats,
particularly excelling in close work. It is an
8-element lens computed for 1:1. This lens can be
used for copying flat copy and other material with
the highest resolution. Reductions or enlargements
in ratios of 1:2 or 2:1 can be produced without
problem. The ratio range can be extended between 1:4
and 4:1 for normal product photography and for
table-top photography, as well as machine vision
applications.
