Sinar m

Imagine a system so versatile that it is a 35 mm camera, a medium format camera and a view camera – all at the same time – for use with traditional film or for digital imaging. Introducing the Sinar m.

Thanks to its modular design, the Sinar m serves as a portable hand-held camera that within seconds, can be fitted onto your Sinar p3 view camera as a shutter giving you access to shutter speeds never before imagined in large format photography. The Sinar m’s compatibility even extends beyond the Sinar System. With the use of different lens adapters, shoot with your existing 35mm lenses, medium format lenses, and Sinaron Digital lenses! Optimized for use in conjunction with Sinarback digital backs, the Sinar m is the very first professional camera that was designed from the ground up specifically for digital photography.

The functions of the digital Sinar m are activated by means of ergonomically positioned dials and keys on its right-hand side. A clear read-out display on the camera shows all the values for aperture, shutter speed, status of the individual components, etc. Power is supplied either directly via integrated contacts on an attached Sinarback digital back, via an ergonomically shaped accessory battery, or via DC power.
